Christmas 2010

The presents are opened, the wrappings are thrown away, the food was eaten and the house is a total mess!  But, now that Christmas Day has come and gone, I sat down and wondered about the meaning of Christmas.   And this is what I discovered:
It's watching the wonder on the children's faces and the joy on older faces.
It's all about being a kid again and playing with your grandchildren's toys!

It's watching expressions on faces and wonder they feel when opening gifts.

It's enjoying a wonderful dinner with loved ones.  (we had prime rib with all the fixings!)

Even the pets are remembered this day.  (this is Magic, my sister-in-law's dog).

It's being with family including all the nuts!

It's being in awe of everything around you.

It's how the tree tells a story through all the ornaments

And it's all about the goodies too!

But, most of all, it's keeping peace and love in our hearts and....

remembering the Reason for the Season---celebrating the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I hope that your Christmas was merry and full of good cheer.

Looks like you had a wonderful family gathering. Christmas certainly is merry and bright when there are small children involved who are still in wonder of it all. Have a great rest of the week. Wishing you much peace, joy love in the New Year. Tammy
