Java (owner of "Never Growing Old" blog) says this: Blogging is a funny thing...we tell our most intimate thoughts for all to read and yet most of the time I find myself sitting and wondering, "who is this person!?" I know them...but yet I don't know them! I want to know who the person is behind all those words so I thought of a great way for all of us to "meet" each other!

Every Sunday Never Growing Old will post five get to know you questions that you can copy and paste into your own Monday post and we can all learn a little more about each and every one of us!!
1. I wish _________
that I could have my father back in my life right now. He passed away on April 17th and I miss him so much!
2. If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
I would love to go back in time to witness the birth of Christ.
3. Do you like to cook?
Yes! I love to bake as well. I'm always cooking with my daughter and tweaking a recipe or two.
4. What do you like to do to get exercise?
I like to walk, but I'm not consistent with it. I have problems with my hip and sometimes when it flares up, I just don't want to walk. I used to exercise alot in my younger days, but I don't do it anymore. I bought a gym membership and that was a waste of money.
5. How tidy are you?
I'm tidy enough. I love to have everything in its place. I can tolerate some clutter but when it gets out of control then I get out of control! I'm not a neat freak by any means, but I do like my house to be neat, tidy and smelling fresh. I become a cleaning dirvish when company is coming.

My sympathy on the loss of your father. My parents both have passed and I think of them daily. In fact, my answer to an event I imagine witnessing involves my parents.
May you be blessed.
:)
