Two Layouts for Two Challenges

I just finished two layouts (one yesterday) and one just moments ago for two on-line challenges. The first layout titled "Chippy" was for a Cafemom group-Artistic Papercrafting. We had to create a layout using a random photo of something that wasn't planned--just totally unexpected. I happened to have a photo of a chipmunk that I had taken the week before so I used that. It's a fairly simple layout for me, but I like how it turned out. The second layout was completed just moments ago after I signed up in a group--Daily Challenges--through Scrapbooking Crafting Friends (ning) for their Wacky Wednesday challenge. The challenge is due Sept. 9th I believe. The challenge involved creating a card or layout using each letter of the word "Wednesday". Here's what I did for that layout:

W--white tag
E--Embellishment
D--Dragonfly
N--Notecard
E--Envelope
S--Stitching (around the title block)
D--Diecut (hummingbird)
A--Accents (watering can, butterflies)
Y--Yellow (flower on envie)

I just slapped everything on without really any thought and I think it came out pretty good! I love the freedom of just letting go and putting stuff down on paper without over=thinking it. I am so motivated right now! Well, off I go to drop off Zachery to visit his grandmother for a camping weekend. I'll be back later.
