74 degrees at 11:00 a.m. Yesterday it reached 80. This is very unusual weather for mid-March here in Maine. People were at the beach in swimsuits, although the beach was about 10 degrees cooler. This weather is just amazing. To think that 2 weeks ago, we had snow!! I sat in my backyard this morning with my cup of coffee alongside my hubby just enjoying the sweet song of the birds and enjoying the warmth of the sun.
We glanced around us and made plans for what type of garden we want. You see, we moved into this house at the end of November so we don't have a clue as to what type of plants and flowers will soon grow. I did discover that we have 3 rosebushes (and I don't have a clue on how to take care of them) and, I believe we have a few azalea bushes at the back of the house. So, we just sat there, dreaming. I do have some daffodils though! I found them on the corner as I was walking around the yard. To think that such a simple thing as a daffodil could put such joy in my heart! Can you tell that I LOVE Spring! It's my favorite season.
Besides enjoying this incredible weather, I'm also working on a couple of swaps and will probably be sharing them later in the week. I'm off to work in a couple of hours. I'm wishing all my followers a wonderful day!
