Finally---Sunshine!

After a month of rain and cloudy days with the temps averaging in the 60's, we finally had a couple of fantastic sunny, summery days! My daughter Jackie and I went to Mother's Beach in Kennebunk and soaked up the sun. It was 85 in town where we live but probably 80 at the beach. Mother's Beach is about 40 minutes from home. Before we hit the beach, though, we drove to Kennebunkport to shop (although we really didn't have enough money) and we took a drive down Ocean Ave to glimpse the Walker Compound (President Bush's summer home). I've put up some pics for you to enjoy. After the beach, I drove to a craft store (there are 44 vendors there) and had the urge to buy everything, but I held off. I'm tired now. I've had so much fresh air over the last few days and I think it's killing me! LOL! I hope all of you have a great night.
