This is the mini that I created for Rhonda for the May TWS Mini Album Swap over at Life on the Scrap Beach. She requested the colors black, red and silver for her son's prom pics. I've only uploaded the first 6 pages. I'll get the rest uploaded tomorrow. I'm sorry if some of the photos are poor quality. I'm posting from my daughter's computer and she uses HP instead of Adobe Photoshop. I'm not a big fan of HP! As always, my albums come out so bulky! I just keep adding stuff until I can't fit anymore! I do hope Rhonda likes this album.
Here's a YouTube video of the mini album I received from Pat (UK). We were partners in the TWS April Mini album swap over at Life on the Scrap Beach. I think she did a wonderful job! I can't wait to take some photos (once the flowers start blooming!) to add to the Spring themed album. Thanks so much, Pat, for being a great partner.
I created this mini for Pat who lives in the UK for the April TWS (Trade Wind Scrappers) over at Life on the (Scrap) Beach. I had so much fun creating this (as I always do when making minis!). It's the bulkiest album I've ever done and so I had to use sport style shoelaces as bindings. I used lots of ribbon and fiber to cover the lacings, but it was the only way. I also added a few jewelry findings to add to the spine as well. I didn't use as many techniques like embossing, glitter, stamping, etc as I normally would as I try to make each album a little different. Here's the YouTube video I uploaded. If you'd like to see my other videos on YouTube, click HERE.
I just finished the mini album I've created for a swap on Life on the Scrap Beach. Here is the cover. What do you think? The theme was shimmer and shine and there's alot of shimmering and shining going on in this album. I had so much fun creating this album. I just kept adding and adding and adding and finally had to stop. There are 16 pages total I believe. I'm only showing the cover today but will post more pics tomorrow. Stay tuned! Thanks for looking. Have a wonderfuly day!
I received my February Mini Album Supply Kit swap from Chantelle on Friday and did she send me a bunch of assorted stuff! The swap was through Life on the (Scrap) Beach--the same swap in which I recieved the beautiful album from Dawn (see post below). Every month, Kathryn hosts a Mini Album Swap and a Mini Album Supply Kit Swap, so last month, I joined both. I have enough supplies here to create more than one album and to also use on other projects. Here are some pics----
I received the most fantastic mini album I think I've ever seen! It was created by Dawn Edwards who was my swap partner for the TWS February Mini Album Swap at Life on the (Scrap) Beach. I just LOVE it! She used the Mariposa line (can't remember the manufacturer), but it is just gorgeous paper! And...she sent me a stack of 6x12 inch left over sheets to create another album! How wonderful is that!? She loaded this album with lots of textures, wonderful stamping, glitter, bling, inking; two different slide out features that boggles my mind!; tags, gorgeous ribbon--I could go on and on and on. Take my word for it---it is gorgeous and the slide show doesn't do it justice! Ahhh, can you tell I'm in love!
I feel as though the album I created for her just didn't live up to her expectations, but she did say she loves it. (I'll post pics of that album as well). So, here is a slideshow of this great album:
Dawn uploaded a video to YouTube of the album I sent her so instead of me posting all the pictures, I'll just upload the video. Take a look!
Now I'm off to start creating for the March Swap!
Have a great day, everyone!
I love to do three things: Write, Scrap and Read, although not always in that particular order. I'm torn between two loves--writing and scrapping, so I do a little of both each day.
